New Brunswick-born and Halifax, Nova Scotia-based, Lisa Richard is at home in front of an audience with her guitar. Whether she is performing at a community fundraiser, showcasing at the East Coast Music awards or sharing the stage with Vince Gill and the Time Jumpers, Lisa Richard captivates listeners with her powerful vocal range, inspiring story and true passion for music and life.

Richard is regarded as “a soulful Anne Murray” (Devon O’Day) and her vocal stylings have also been compared to the likes of Cher, Wynonna Judd and Tracy Chapman. Richard’s genre extends across country, pop, rock and blues and she's performed for audiences across North America and Europe.

In her debut appearance at the Stan Rogers Festival, Lisa received a standing O for her soulful rendition of Gordon Lightfoot’s If You Could Read My Mind.  It has been subsequently released as a single and accompanying video which has won her thousands of new fans.
